Privacy Policy

Your privacy, plainly explained.

Effective date: October 15, 2026  ·  Last updated: October 22, 2026

Pivot & Pull is operated by Culturally Elevated Consulting, LLC.

Our commitment

Pivot & Pull exists so leaders can examine their experiences, challenge assumptions, reflect on hard decisions and grow with confidence. Some of what you share with us may be personal or professionally sensitive.

We collect only what we need, explain how we use it, give you real choices, and take reasonable steps to protect it. This policy explains what we collect, why, who it is shared with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Pivot & Pull is a leadership development platform operated by Culturally Elevated Consulting, LLC, 24285 Katy Fwy, Suite 300, Katy, Texas 77494 ("we," "us"). Culturally Elevated Consulting, LLC also operates other businesses. Pivot & Pull member development information is used only to provide Pivot & Pull.

This policy covers personal information we handle through:

  • pivotpull.com, including our early access pages and newsletter sign-up.
  • Membership registration, sign-in and account management.
  • The Pivot & Pull member platform, including assessments, The Pivots, The Pulls, reflections, development tools, dashboards and downloadable documents.
  • The Boardroom and other community features.
  • Peer Perspective feedback and credentials, where offered.
  • Membership purchases, once paid memberships are available.
  • Emails, customer support and marketing.

Memberships are offered to residents of the United States who are 18 or older.

2. Information we collect

Early access list and newsletter

When you join our early access list or newsletter, we collect your email address and, if you provide them, your first name and organization. We also record which sign-up form you used, whether you were on a phone or computer, and, if you arrived from one of our ads or posts, the campaign tag in that link (for example, "instagram"). This tells us which of our posts and ads are useful to people.

Account and profile

  • Name, email address, leadership stage and job title.
  • Account status and membership level.
  • Profile fields you choose to fill in, and your settings and notification choices.

Sign-in uses a one-time email link, so we do not store a password for you. We never need your Social Security number or any government ID.

Leadership development information

  • Assessment answers and results.
  • Your choices and responses in Pivots, Pulls and other activities.
  • Written reflections, goals, plans, practice records and progress.
  • Entries in your Growth Ledger and other private working material.
  • Saved items and documents you create.

Some of this may describe workplace relationships, conflict, setbacks or self-doubt. Please share only what the activity needs, and avoid entering confidential employer information or details that identify other people.

Community and member-generated content

If you use The Boardroom, we handle your posts, replies, reactions, votes, private messages, the profile fields you choose to show, and any reports and moderation records.

Payment information

When paid memberships open, payments will be processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details directly. We receive only what we need to manage your membership, such as your plan, payment status, transaction dates and amounts, and the card brand and last four digits. We never store full card numbers.

Website, device and usage information

When you visit our website or use the platform, our hosting and security providers automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the date and time. Inside the platform, we record activity such as practices tried and pages opened so we can show your progress. Error reports record the page and the error, never what you typed.

Support

When you contact us, we keep your message and our reply.

3. How we use information

  • To provide Pivot & Pull: create and secure your account, save your work, and deliver the features you have access to.
  • To personalize your development: reflect your choices back to you, recommend activities and show your progress.
  • To run the community: display what you choose to share and keep the space safe through moderation.
  • To process payments: manage purchases, renewals, refunds and receipts.
  • To communicate with you: send sign-in links, account and service messages, support replies and, if you have subscribed, our newsletter and launch updates.
  • To understand our marketing: learn which posts, ads and pages bring people to us.
  • To protect Pivot & Pull: block spam and bots, prevent unauthorized access and investigate problems.
  • To meet legal obligations: keep required records and respond to lawful requests.

We will not use your information for an unrelated purpose without telling you first and, where required, asking for your consent.

4. How we treat your private leadership reflections

Candid reflection only works if it stays private. Your assessment results, Pivot and Pull responses, reflections, Growth Ledger, plans and private working material are for your own development. Our commitments:

  • They are never shown to other members and never posted to The Boardroom.
  • They are never shared with your employer, your manager, or anyone you mention in them.
  • They are never sold.
  • They are never given to advertising companies.
  • They are never used to rank or score you in the community.
  • Pivot & Pull staff do not view them. There is no administrator screen that displays them. They are reached only if needed to fix a technical problem you report, or to comply with the law.
  • You decide whether to download or share your own documents.

We treat this information as sensitive. If you choose to write about your health or other personal matters, it is used only to provide your own development experience.

Pivot & Pull is a leadership development tool. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical, legal or mental health advice.

Practice recordings

Some activities let you record yourself practicing out loud. A recording is made on your own device and stays there. It is saved to Pivot & Pull only where an activity offers to keep it and you say yes. A saved recording:

  • is private to you, and only you can play it;
  • is never listened to, transcribed or scored by us, and never goes into analytics, PDFs or your Impact Brief;
  • can be deleted by you at any time, and is deleted automatically one year after it was saved, or sooner if you delete your account.

Recordings made on the free Pivot page are never saved. They stay on your device.

5. Recommendations and automated processing

Pivot & Pull uses set rules and your structured responses to provide feedback, suggest next steps, summarize your progress, identify patterns and determine credential eligibility. These are meant to support your reflection. They never decide anything about your employment, promotion or professional ability, and you should use your own judgment when reading them.

We do not currently use outside artificial intelligence services to process member information. If that changes, we will update this policy before it happens.

6. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as described here.

Service providers

These companies help us run Pivot & Pull and may process information only to provide their service to us:

  • Netlify: website hosting and server functions.
  • Supabase: database and sign-in.
  • SendGrid (Twilio) and Brevo: email delivery.
  • Cloudflare: bot protection on our forms.
  • Meta: advertising measurement on our public website pages, as described in section 7.
  • Porkbun: forwarding of email sent to our pivotpull.com addresses.
  • Stripe: payment processing, once paid memberships are available.

Other members

What you choose to post in The Boardroom or show on your community profile is visible to other members who can access that space.

People you choose

We share information at your direction, for example when you share a document, invite someone to give Peer Perspective feedback, or turn on a public link to a credential.

Legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with the law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our members, our business or others.

Business changes

If Pivot & Pull is part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy's protections.

7. Cookies, tracking and email measurement

Apart from the advertising measurement described below, we use only what is needed to run and protect the site:

  • Sign-in and security: the platform stores sign-in information in your browser so you stay signed in.
  • Bot protection: Cloudflare's check on our forms processes your IP address and browser details to tell people from automated spam.

Email measurement: our email providers record when an email is opened and which links are clicked. We use this to know whether our emails reach people and which content is useful.

Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel and purchase reporting)

Our public website pages use the Meta Pixel so we can tell which of our ads and posts bring people to Pivot & Pull. When someone buys a membership, we also tell Meta from our own server that a purchase happened, so we can see which ads actually lead to members rather than only to visits. Here is exactly how it works:

  • Where the pixel runs: only on our public website pages. Never on the free Pivot page, in the member platform, or on sign-in, checkout or account pages.
  • What the pixel sends: only that a page was visited and that someone signed up. We never send Meta your name, anything you type in a form, or any reflections, assessment answers or development records.
  • What we send from our server when you buy: that a purchase happened, what it was worth, and a scrambled version of your email address, called a hash. A hash cannot be turned back into your address, and Meta uses it only to match the sale to an advert you had already clicked. It is still information about you, so we treat it that way. We never send your name, your card details, or anything you have written to us.
  • Which adverts brought you: if you arrive from one of our adverts, your browser keeps the advert's tracking tags for up to 90 days so that a later purchase can be credited to it. Those tags describe the advert, not you.
  • What Meta receives: when the pixel runs, Meta receives your IP address and browser details and may use cookies, as described in Meta's privacy policy.
  • Privacy signals: if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the pixel never runs and we do not report your purchase to Meta either.

Your choice: Ad measurement is on in this browser. Turning it off stops the pixel and also stops us reporting a purchase you make in this browser to Meta.

Your choice is saved in this browser only. If you clear your browser data or use another device, set it again there.

8. Marketing emails and your choices

If you join our early access list or newsletter, we will send launch news, leadership content and membership information. You can stop at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying "unsubscribe," or writing to privacy@pivotpull.com.

Unsubscribing stops marketing emails. We may still send messages you need, such as sign-in links, receipts and important account notices. We keep a record of your unsubscribe so we never email you marketing again by mistake.

9. Community, Peer Perspective and credentials

The Boardroom

  • Other members see your first name and last initial, plus only the profile fields you choose to show.
  • You can post or reply anonymously. Other members will not see your name. Our moderators can still see who wrote an anonymous post, so reports can be acted on.
  • Votes never show who voted.
  • Private messages are visible only to the two members in the conversation, and only after both agree to connect.
  • Community posts are not private journal entries. Please use discretion about colleagues, clients and employers.

Peer Perspective

  • You invite at least five people. No results are shown until at least three have responded, and each question stays hidden until at least three people have rated it.
  • You are never told who responded, and no answer is attributed to anyone.
  • Reviewers' email addresses are deleted when the feedback cycle closes.
  • When groups are small, you may still be able to guess who said what. We cannot prevent that.

Credentials

  • Credentials are private until you turn on sharing for a specific credential.
  • A shared credential link shows the certificate and what it took to earn it. It never shows your scores, patterns, stage, plans or reflections.
  • You can turn sharing off at any time, and the link stops working immediately.

10. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy.

We keep payment records for as long as the law requires. Deleted information may remain in backups for up to 30 days. Deleting your account does not remove copies of documents you downloaded or shared with others yourself.

You can download a copy of your information at any time from Settings, under "Download my data."

12. Your privacy rights

Whatever state you live in, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy.
  • Correct information that is wrong.
  • Delete your information, as described above.
  • Stop sending you marketing.
  • Withdraw any consent you gave us.

Some states give residents additional rights, such as the right to appeal a decision about a request. Where those laws apply to us, we will honor them. We will never treat you differently for using your privacy rights.

To make a request, email privacy@pivotpull.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain why.

13. How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards, including:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all of our sites.
  • Database rules that allow each member to reach only their own records.
  • Sign-in by one-time email link, with no stored passwords.
  • Administrator access limited to the people who need it.
  • Secret keys kept on our servers, never in your browser.
  • Bot protection on our forms.

No system connected to the internet can be guaranteed completely secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will investigate, fix it and notify you as the law requires. Please keep your email account secure, since it is how you sign in.

14. Where information is stored

Pivot & Pull memberships are offered in the United States, and our database is located in the United States. Some of our service providers may process information in other locations under their own safeguards.

15. Age requirement

Pivot & Pull is for adults. You must be 18 or older to become a member. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has given us information, contact privacy@pivotpull.com and we will delete it.

16. Other websites

Our website and platform may link to other websites and services. They are responsible for their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

17. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our services or practices change, and we will change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we will tell members by email or in the platform before it takes effect.
